ACO Bulstrode pays a visit to Nick concerning the incident at the prison and the missing uniform, questioning why Bayleaf consistently finds himself in trouble. Meanwhile, Bayleaf is frustrated that even his children tease him about his mishap. George and Kelly voice their grievances about their flat to their landlord, who blames them for the situation. Blue Watch takes part in a charity event for the Children's Hospital Fund at a supermarket, where they rush to build small houses. Billy misled Pearce into thinking it was a fancy dress event, leading to Pearce showing up in a chicken costume and becoming the butt of jokes. Patti, despite her mix-up with a nun costume, discusses Hallam’s job offer and her hopes for Geoff's promotion with Nick, catching him off guard. Sicknote plans a romantic getaway with Jean but derails their plans when he encounters an old man named Douglas, who gets him drunk and takes him golfing the next day. Nick tries to get Hallam to discuss the job
