Donald, a troubled young boy, spends his time at the station, much to Pearce's irritation. Bayleaf reassures Pearce that Donald means no harm and simply admires the firefighters. Billy sends Donald off to fetch some papers. During a training exercise, Scase shows up to review Blue Watch's records. Meanwhile, Kevin flirts with Sally, and Bayleaf confides in George about contemplating his future after a series of mishaps. Suddenly, the alarm sounds—an elderly woman fears her neighbor is trapped in an army tank. A group of kids, including Ben, shoplift at a local newsagents. Meanwhile, Kevin and Billy take two girls out, but one becomes excessively drunk. Kevin kindly escorts her home, only to be confronted by her angry father.
