Hallam is assigned to train on the fire brigade's riverboat along the Thames, while Pearce takes over as the new Sub. Jaffa confronts Sicknote about the fleas at the station, prompting Nick to chime in about the dog. Fearing another surprise inspection from Scase, Nick orders the entire watch to clean the station from top to bottom. While in the cellar, Billy discovers some old uniforms. Blue Watch responds to an emergency at a block of flats where a distressed woman has locked her husband and child on the balcony. She attacks Recall and Sally with a knife, but they manage to subdue her. Bayleaf finalizes the purchase of a restaurant, and George begins a new job as a watchman at a theater. Frustrated with Hallam's behavior, Sandra seeks a job interview.
