Bayleaf and Claire dive into their work at the restaurant while Nick seeks Dimitri's assistance, warning him to steer clear of Ariadne. After their shift, Billy attempts to take some old uniforms but is caught by a suspicious Pearce. Kevin invites everyone to a party on his new boat, but Sally declines, claiming swimming training as her reason, though her true feelings for him linger. Meanwhile, George works at the theater and heroically saves the Russian ballerina Larissa from a small fire. At the party, Kevin is less than thrilled when the Pearces arrive uninvited. Later, while cleaning his boat post-party, Kevin is ambushed and beaten by two thugs. He suspects Sally's involvement, but she denies any connection. Dimitri continues to block Nick's efforts to reach Ariadne, while fake firemen scam elderly residents with smoke detectors. A group of boys playing in an old water tower faces danger when one falls into a deep well. Nick bravely descends,
