Episode Overview
Life in Blackwall returns to its usual routine. After Evgenia twists her ankle, Nick informs the station that he’ll be home caring for the baby. However, Sicknote is appalled at the idea of Pearce supervising, so he asks Jean to babysit instead, allowing Nick to come to work. Pearce is eager for a promotion to Sub Officer, only to learn from Nick that DO Chapman has already chosen someone else. From the station office, he witnesses Jack delivering a heavy punch to Pitbull. Blue Watch responds to another false alarm at the hospital. Nick reviews footage from security cameras, leading them to the prankster who admits he was simply "bored." He subtly lectures Jack about the altercation. Meanwhile, Pearce considers selling his house to settle with Patti and escape Blackwall. Jenny confesses to Sandra, taking responsibility for her affair with Hallam. Linda and her new husband send Stephen off to boarding school. Kelly and George work on rekindling Beattie
