Episode Overview

Tom makes a private trip to Melbourne for cancer treatment, sharing the news only with Amy. Meanwhile, Kelly grows worried about Tom’s absence and seeks answers from Amy, who reassures her that Tom is merely off fishing. As Tom remains missing, Inspector Falcon-Price eagerly steps in to take control of the station and starts to suspect Tom's situation, ultimately deciding to interrogate Kelly. Frustration mounts for Amy when the Inspector obstructs her investigation into a violent home invasion. When their views clash, Amy finds herself removed from the case. To keep Rory away from the Inspector, Alex sends him on the road with Susie, only to panic when Rory goes missing again.
