Episode Overview
While investigating an explosion, Adam and Dash stumble upon Tony Timms, the determined reporter from the Mt. Thomas Gazette, who is disoriented and hurt on the riverbank. Although his camera is missing, Tony refuses to reveal who attacked him or his purpose there. The Heelers get a lead after attending a charity fish dinner at the Imperial, where attendees fall ill from food poisoning. Suspecting river pollution, they find suspicious barrels in the water, but Doctor Zoe's tests reveal no link to the fish poisoning. Meanwhile, Chris discovers that the Akubra hat, which held the charity money, has vanished, leading to a list of suspects including Keith Purvis and his new girlfriend, a local pig farmer, as well as Jeanie, the cook, who is upset about accusations of poisoning the fish. And what role does Tony Timms and his eager apprentice play in all this?
