Episode Overview
In the dead of night, Nick is startled awake by a tipsy tour operator who claims one of his clients has vanished in the National Park. The Heelers interrogate the woman’s husband and their pregnant companion, who explain that she lagged behind during a bushwalk and simply vanished. As the Heelers begin a comprehensive search at dawn, PJ wants to talk to Aussie Andy, the tour operator, suspecting his drunkenness might have played a role in the disappearance. While PJ and Ben are scaling a rocky bluff where Andy is supposedly searching, PJ slips and severely twists his ankle. Their only radio is damaged in the fall, leaving PJ thankful for Ben's support as he insists on continuing. On the bluff, Ben discovers a lost gold earring.
