Episode Overview
The Heelers find themselves embroiled in a tense domestic crisis when a heartbroken man arrives in Mt. Thomas searching for his terminally ill partner, Peter Jones. Robert believes Peter has come back to reconcile with his estranged parents after eight years. However, since Peter isn’t officially missing, Jack is unable to intervene, leading to an altercation with a distraught Robert. Meanwhile, behind the station desk, Ben and Maggie are grappling with the aftermath of their passionate kiss at Ben's birthday party, which complicates their dynamic. Ben wants to discuss their feelings, but Maggie avoids him, struggling to confront her emotions. As they investigate Robert's claims, the Heelers uncover troubling aspects of his relationship with Peter, including a history of violence and Peter's involvement in prostitution.
