Episode Overview

Ben is deeply concerned when he discovers that his daughter's tutor, Amy Fordham, is caught in the turmoil of her parents' failing marriage. Wanting to help, he drives her home, only to witness an intense argument that leaves Amy injured. Refusing to let her face the fallout alone, Ben takes her back to the Watchhouse, determined to notify the Department of Human Services about her situation. Tom advises him to first seek a resolution with Amy's parents. The Fordhams agree to improve their behavior, and though Ben is skeptical, he allows Amy to return home, assuring her of his support. Meanwhile, Ben faces additional challenges when Maggie comes back rattled from an internal investigation into a bus crash. While she’s cleared of reckless driving, guilt over the tragedy weighs heavily on her. She finds solace in Ben's embrace, but PJ unexpectedly walks in, growing increasingly uneasy about their close relationship.
