Episode Overview

Ben's divorce is finalized, but the news hits his daughter Emma hard, forcing her to move back to her mother in Melbourne. In her anger, Emma wreaks havoc at the station. Tom, who has been supportive as Ben navigates single parenting and police work, warns him that he needs to separate his personal issues from his job. When $20 goes missing from petty cash, Emma quickly becomes the prime suspect. The situation escalates when Ben discovers Emma has run away, and a teacher reveals she often skips school with a friend. Ben eventually tracks her down at her friend's grandmother's house, where Nanny Nora reassures him that Emma has found some solace he couldn't provide. Meanwhile, the Heelers investigate a series of bizarre burglaries involving stolen electrical items in the same neighborhood. Jo and Ben respond to a report at an elderly woman’s home, further complicating the case.
