Episode Overview
As the millennium approaches, Inspector Falcon Price conducts an unexpected blackout drill at the station to evaluate the Heelers' readiness for any Year 2000 issues that may arise. It's crucial for the police and emergency services to be fully prepared for any scenario. Meanwhile, Jack discovers Gary Scully caught in a net high in a tree on the Janssen property, a victim of a makeshift man trap, and manages to rescue him. Ben’s daughter Emma returns to the Watchhouse after her hospital stay, stirring painful memories for PJ of Ben and Maggie's vigil during her illness. PJ confides in Ben that he can't hinder Maggie's pursuit of happiness any longer and encourages her to see Ben as a potential partner. This leaves Maggie at a crossroads, torn between her complicated feelings for PJ and her growing connection with Ben. The Heelers also speak with the Jenssens about the man trap and find out that the family has been fervently preparing for the Y2K crisis, anticipating the worst.
