Episode Overview
PJ intensifies his search for Maggie's murderer when a mysterious man is rescued alive from a car accident. However, when PJ and Ben learn that a local man from Mt Thomas has been professionally assassinated, they suspect this might be the hitman responsible for Maggie's death, now targeting PJ for his relentless pursuit of justice. Defying Tom's advice, PJ decides to act as bait to draw the killer out. Yet, the murderer anticipates PJ's every move. Just when it seems hopeless, the killer is shot in front of PJ, shifting suspicion to an insider—another police officer. In a shocking twist, PJ confronts his enemy: Mick Doyle, Maggie's killer and her own brother. Once the turmoil settles, PJ and Pat Doyle finally find peace as they scatter Maggie's ashes over her beloved landscape.
