Meanwhile, Jack develops a bond with the band’s spirited back-up singer, who is revealed to be the daughter of promoter Bryce McLeod. As PJ investigates Bryce, he uncovers ties to a secret drug trafficking case and a close friendship with Barry Craig, potentially linking everything together. Under PJ's scrutiny, Bryce shuts down the band, leading to tragic fallout for one member. When Jack saves the back-up singer from an overdose, she learns the truth about her father and decides to assist PJ.
