Episode Overview
When Martin narrowly avoids a parking ticket, Tim suggests he should get a driver’s license to legitimize his driving. At the DMV, Martin faces a dilemma when he’s about to be fingerprinted and resorts to taking the prints of another patron. This backfires when the prints match those from an unsolved jewel heist. The police discover the connection during a routine check, and Tim, who covered the robbery for the newspaper, raises suspicions. Realizing they’re being watched, Martin devises a plan to catch the real thief by attending a party where Mrs. Summer Winthrop will showcase the stolen galaxy diamond necklace. The event turns out to be swarming with undercover officers and the actual thief, Brian Henley, who Martin recognizes from the DMV. As Henley orchestrates the theft, Martin spots where the necklace is hidden and cleverly uses his levitation ability to plant it back on Henley, leading to the thief's swift capture and clearing Martin and Tim of any wrongdoing.
