Episode Overview
Martin catches a cold, which hits Martians much harder than humans. Meanwhile, Tim is tasked with reviewing the outer space exhibit at Trimbles Department Store. Trimble, a powerful advertiser for The Sun, attempts to manipulate Tim into giving a positive review, even though the exhibit is riddled with ridiculous stereotypes about extraterrestrial life. Unfortunately, Tim accidentally ingests one of Martin's cold tablets and dozes off before he can finish the review. In a pinch, Martin pens the review based on his authentic experiences on Mars. This infuriates Trimble, who demands that Mr. Burns fire Tim unless he apologizes and retracts his statement. Though Tim considers conceding to keep his job and avoid financial ruin, Martin urges him to stand firm on his beliefs. Ultimately, Tim confronts Trimble, but it’s Gloria, Trimble's usually gentle daughter, who surprises everyone by defending Tim and criticizing the exhibit.
