Episode Overview

While in the Florida Keys, Ma-Ti encounters what he believes to be a massive man-eating shark, but Gi clarifies that it’s actually a harmless Basking Shark. A nearby local mishears their exchange, causing widespread panic in the resort town. The mayor responds by hiring Argos Bleak to eliminate all sharks in the bay. Chaos unfolds when jellyfish, previously preyed upon by the sharks, invade the beach, prompting the townspeople to realize the essential role of predators in the ecosystem. After narrowly escaping their downed EcoCopter, the other Planeteers rescue Gi and Ma-Ti, along with the Basking Shark, from the merciless Bleak.
