Episode Overview

Mrs. Stebel assigns her social studies class a mock marriage project, pairing students together to create imaginary lives. Each duo randomly selects a profession from a jar and is tasked with presenting their fictional 20-year reunion. Snobbish Kate is dismayed to find herself partnered with Larry Tudgeman, though she enjoys her role as a news anchor. Lizzie hopes to team up with the charming but not-so-bright Ethan Craft, but instead gets paired with reliable Gordo, who has the job of sanitation engineer. At first, Lizzie is content, thinking Gordo will help her ace the project, but her feelings shift when Miranda is paired with Ethan, who turns out to be a surgeon. Jealousy starts to creep in for Lizzie.
