Episode Overview

Lizzie and her friends find themselves disheartened by the school president candidates: the overly popular cheerleader Claire Miller and quirky Larry Tudgeman, who vows to eat a worm for each vote he receives. Gordo motivates Lizzie to step up as a "normal" contender, with Miranda supporting the idea. Lizzie accepts the challenge, and Gordo enthusiastically becomes her campaign manager, promoting her as the “voice of the people.” As Lizzie gains confidence, she confronts Claire and Kate. However, her desire to fit in with the drama club leads her to neglect other groups, prompting Miranda's frustration and Gordo's realization that he may have fueled Lizzie's diva transformation.
