Episode Overview
When the McGuire family's babysitter bails, Lizzie proposes that she can handle watching her younger brother, Matt. Initially, their parents refuse, but after some convincing, they agree, with Miranda and Gordo volunteering to assist. Once Mr. and Mrs. McGuire leave, chaos ensues as Matt wreaks havoc, spilling grape juice and testing Lizzie's patience as she strives to prove her maturity. Miranda and Gordo, however, don't take her seriously. Meanwhile, Sam McGuire feels uneasy and wants to sneak back home to check on the kids, while Jo warns him to stay low-key. Back at the house, Matt accidentally cuts the power, leading to a comical misunderstanding when Sam tries to sneak in and the kids mistake him for an intruder, prompting a police call. The night spirals into a hilarious battle reminiscent of "Home Alone" as the police arrive to apprehend Sam.
