Excited by the announcement that pop star Aaron Carter is filming a music video nearby, Lizzie and Miranda enlist Gordo's help to uncover the shoot's location, hoping to sneak onto the set for a chance encounter with Aaron. Matt, eager to join, manages to tag along. Upon reaching the venue, Matt is mistakenly identified as Aaron’s body double and gets access to the set, while the girls are left out. They attempt various tactics to sneak in but are repeatedly thwarted by a vigilant security guard. In the midst of the chaos, Mr. and Mrs. McGuire find themselves caught by security. Eventually, Lizzie persuades Aaron's manager to allow one of them to meet the star, and Miranda is chosen. While retrieving a tape recorder, Lizzie unexpectedly runs into Aaron, who shares a sweet kiss with her. Ultimately, all the kids score roles as extras in the video.
