Episode Overview
Miranda becomes infatuated with Ryan Adams after watching him in drama class, prompting Lizzie to take action to unite them. However, when Miranda becomes nervous during their first encounter, she asks Lizzie for help with conversation starters. At lunch, Lizzie hides in a trash can, feeding Miranda lines to use with Ryan. To Lizzie's dismay, Miranda mimics her every move, even sneezing at the same time. When Lizzie is stung by a bee, the plan falls apart, leaving Miranda disheartened and ready to abandon her crush. Miscommunication ensues when Ryan mistakenly believes Lizzie is interested in him, causing friction between the friends. Ultimately, Lizzie encourages Miranda to confront Ryan again, leading to a realization that her attraction was more to the character than the person, and they reconcile.
