Episode Overview

Joan believes it is her destiny to help Stevie retain her part-time position with Adam, despite Stevie's mother's insistence that she quit. To provide Stevie with the Social Security number her mother is withholding, Joan enlists Kevin's investigative talents. Kevin's discoveries inadvertently lead Will to uncover something that dramatically alters Stevie's life. Meanwhile, Adam confronts Joan for revealing to Helen that he attempted to sleep with her, while Kevin grapples with a dilemma when the local TV station requests a report related to paralysis.
