Episode Overview

When Price catches Joan with an empty egg carton next to his vandalized car, he mistakenly blames her and sentences her to a weekend of community service. Guided only by a vague sense of justice, Joan must navigate her role, deciding whether to assist Lilly, a resentful former nun supervising the project, or connect with fellow participants grappling with their own issues. At the same time, Joan struggles with her hesitancy to engage romantically with Adam, which is creating tension between them. Meanwhile, Adam crosses paths with a troubled artist at the center, Joan helps Luke secure a position at a bookstore, and Kevin finds himself in another car mishap.
