Episode Overview
In this reimagining of a Stephen King tale, Becka Paulson's mundane existence in a trailer park takes a wild turn when she accidentally shoots herself in the head while engrossed in her favorite soap opera. The bullet becomes lodged in her brain, leaving a noticeable red dot on her forehead and completely altering her reality. Although Doc Fink, the local veterinarian, finds nothing amiss, Becka begins to experience a surge in intelligence and creativity, dreaming up new inventions. To her surprise, the Handsome Man from a photo in her frame begins speaking to her, revealing the town's hidden truths, including her husband Joe's lunchtime affair with Nancy Voss at the post office. The Handsome Man provides the companionship Becka craves and seems to be a far better option than Joe, but can she truly trust the guidance of a man confined to an 8x10 frame?
