The tranquil lives of a suburban community are shattered when a mysterious force uproots a four-block section of their neighborhood and transports it to an alien world. Amid the chaos, Joshua Hayward, his daughter Sarah, and their fellow residents struggle to comprehend their new reality, where an invisible barrier marks the edge of their familiar surroundings. Sarah encounters Adrielo, a grotesquely damaged alien, who reveals that they were abducted by another alien species. As he guides her through a gap in the barrier, he pleads for her assistance in curing a disease that is petrifying his people. Simultaneously, Joshua makes a shocking discovery when he is pulled through the barrier and confronts the Triunes, bizarre creatures who conduct unsettling experiments on him, explaining their intentions without remorse.
