Episode Overview

For three decades, a delicate peace has existed between the Free Alliance and the Coalition of Middle-Eastern and Pacific States, both on Earth and Mars. They harvest triradium, a highly potent radioactive mineral valuable for energy and potentially dangerous for weaponry. When a massive explosion rocks Earth and sends a shockwave toward Mars, the soldiers stationed at the Free Alliance base grow anxious about the fate of their truce. Colonel Samantha Elliot (Barbara Eve Harris), cut off from Earth for 12 hours due to Mars' rotation, suspects that someone from the Coalition is illegally smuggling triradium. As communications falter and a Coalition drone nears the base, Elliot readies for a preemptive attack, while Major James Bowen (Adam Baldwin) expresses his concerns, especially since he has developed feelings for Major Dara Talif (Joan Chen), the Coalition liaison officer.
