S01E23 Marco's Mission
Episode Overview
The former King of France received the jewels from the King of Spain, and Louis decides to return them as a gesture of goodwill. The mission is entrusted to the Three Musketeers and Dogtanian, much to Treville's delight as he proudly strokes his mustache. Meanwhile, Richelieu and Rochefort plot to prevent their journey to the Spanish Court. At a performance mocking Cardinal Richelieu, a mouse named Marco takes center stage. When Widimer and the Cardinal's guards attempt to shut down the show, Marco accidentally knocks Widimer off his horse. Although Pip joins the fray, his efforts are ineffective, leading to Marco and the Ringmaster's arrest. Richelieu and Rochefort inform Marco of a conspiracy aimed at igniting war between France and Spain, seeking his assistance to thwart it.
