The Territory (2019)

Overview

Victor Gromov, a notorious figure from Moscow's criminal scene known as the "Butcher," has traded his violent past for a peaceful life on his farm. However, his tranquility shatters when former associates demand he stash their mafia funds in an offshore account. Reluctantly, Victor complies but suffers a mishap that erases his bank password just as he’s due to return the money. Forced to flee from vengeful gangsters, he inadvertently locks himself in a freight train boxcar, leading him to the remote town of Polyarny, where escape proves to be a formidable challenge.
