Now that Hugh has returned to the UK, Paul finds himself solo at River Cottage Australia, but not for long as he prepares to welcome Digger, a lively border collie pup, to the farm. As Digger playfully trails Paul, he focuses on nurturing his winter vegetable garden, utilizing an organic fertiliser made from some of the farm's less desirable materials. The local village of Central Tilba is buzzing with festival excitement, and Paul is eager to showcase his culinary talents. Will his homemade relish, crafted from locally sourced ingredients, impress the townsfolk? Venturing further afield with local hunters, Paul learns how to transform an invasive pest into a tasty dish, and he also introduces his first dairy cow to River Cottage. The big question remains: will he master the art of milking?
