Man vs. Wild (2006)

Episode Overview

Grylls leaps from a plane into the lush rainforest of Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula, armed only with a knife and a canteen. Despite his caution with water sources, he soon finds himself suffering from severe illness. To navigate his surroundings, he scales a waterfall using a vine and constructs a balsawood raft to drift downriver toward the ocean, showcasing how a lost individual can find their way back to civilization. Throughout his journey, he faces challenges from snakes, swarms of mosquitoes, and perilous river currents.
