Man vs. Wild (2006)

Episode Overview

Grylls is airlifted into the Chugach Mountains of Alaska, equipped with skis and his standard survival kit. As he maneuvers over the snow and glaciers, he showcases the technique of glissading and descends a 200-foot waterfall. He manages to catch a salmon, which he devours raw, and discovers a small skiff near an old lodge. Although the skiff capsizes, he swims to shore and is eventually seen by a passing ship.
