In 1946, at Fenway Park in Boston, the cocky baseball player Frank Newhouse enlists Sydney to locate the legendary glove of the renowned Jimmy Jonesboro, which vanished over half a century ago. Sydney and Nigel follow clues that lead them deep into the sewers of Boston, dating back to before the Revolutionary War. Unbeknownst to them, Sydney's old adversary, Kurt Reiner, is secretly following their every move.
