In 1946 Salzburg, Austria, a military officer convinces Sydney and Nigel to embark on a covert mission to track down the legendary Paracelsus scrolls, rumored to hold the secret of transforming lead into gold, hidden in the Peruvian jungle. With scant details at their disposal, Sydney and Nigel soon find themselves entangled in a dangerous standoff between two government spies, each accusing the other of being a traitor.
