Sifuentes is infuriated to discover that the dinner invitation at the Brackman residence was a ploy to recruit him for an immigration scam. Meanwhile, Kuzak persists in his pursuit of Van Owen. Perkins is thrown into chaos when her ex-husband abducts their son, growing increasingly desperate as it seems the police are unable to assist her. Kuzak uncovers that his client’s lawsuit against an amusement park for their son's injuries is rooted in deceit. Markowitz worries about losing his job after refusing to exploit an inebriated I.R.S. agent for his client’s tax advantage, but fortune smiles upon him when an unfavorable I.R.S. ruling unexpectedly benefits his client during a divorce.
