Episode Overview

Disillusioned by the avarice of the law students he addresses, McKenzie decides to extend a clerkship opportunity to a more socially conscious student. Meanwhile, Sifuentes defends a teen who fatally harmed her abusive brother, suspecting that the cycle of violence may have started with the father. Kelsey confronts Perkins about the harsh reality that she may never see Eric again. Van Owen is outraged to learn that Kuzak has arranged a lunch with her fiancé to evaluate his rival. Amidst personal turmoil, McKenzie proposes a solution to Hubbard’s frustrations, while a lovesick Lewis battles to win back his princess, and Van Owen visits Kuzak at night to confess her true feelings.
