Episode Overview

Hadley Purvis, an advertising executive battling alcoholism, faces an ultimatum from his wife, Sandra: stop drinking or she will leave him. Sadly, he succumbs to his addiction and gets heavily intoxicated. Upon waking, he finds himself with no memory of the events from the night before. He is oblivious to the fact that he lost his job for being inebriated during a crucial presentation and doesn’t recall purchasing a scarf for Sandra to prove his sobriety. The shocking discovery of her strangled body in the basement forces him to confront the horrifying truth—he killed her with the very scarf meant as a peace offering.
