Title: Isabel Plot: Howard Clements finds himself falsely accused of assaulting Isabel Smith and is sentenced to two years in prison. After his release, he embezzles $13,000—the amount he lost while incarcerated—and opens a record shop in his hometown. He crosses paths with Isabel several times and eventually secures a date with her, leading to their engagement. During their honeymoon, Howard sabotages the rental boat’s fuel line, persuading Isabel to take it out alone. He later hears a distant explosion, savoring his revenge. However, on his way home, the police intercept him, aware of his theft and suspicious of a possible murder.
