Episode Overview
Title: Nothing Ever Happens in Linvale Plot: When Mrs. Logan suspects her neighbor Harry Jarvis may have murdered his wife and concealed her body in his backyard, she contacts Sheriff Ben Wister. She notices Harry’s odd behavior, including all-night digging sessions and excessive day drinking. Additionally, Mrs. Jarvis's bothersome little dog has disappeared. During questioning, Harry asserts that his wife abandoned him for another man and left her dog with him, which he claims died from an illness. The sheriff is skeptical and secures a warrant to search the yard. While digging, the police uncover the dead dog and begin to believe Harry's account. Later, Harry meets secretly with Mrs. Logan, revealing he did indeed kill his wife, and together they bury her remains where the dog was interred, confident the authorities won’t investigate the spot again.
