Earning the trust of the gang's leader, Tiger, proves successful, but complications arise when Filene, Tiger's girlfriend, becomes enamored with Jay. Tensions escalate as other gang members resent Jay’s rising influence. When they invade his hideout and discover his notes, they alert Tiger, leading to Jay being marked for execution. He narrowly escapes, but tragedy strikes when Filene is killed, her death witnessed by others, leading to Tiger and his crew’s arrest.
