Brother Thomas Fitzgibbon, a clumsy medical missionary, resides in India with his manipulative wife, Mary. When new missionaries Brother John Sprague and his wife, Lucy, arrive, they disrupt Mary’s carefully laid plans for her husband’s success. Fearing that their presence could jeopardize her family's future, Mary plots to eliminate them.
