Episode Overview
Title: Isolated Terror Plot: Stella, wed to a timid peach farmer named Emory, offers shelter to a wandering drifter named Jesse. She brings him on to assist Emory with the peach harvest. However, Jesse’s unsettling demeanor and his obsession with a knife soon unsettle her. Emory dismisses her concerns, leading Stella to attempt an escape, only to be intercepted by Jesse, who menaces her with the blade. In a desperate struggle, she manages to flee in her husband’s truck and returns home. When she informs Emory of the encounter, he admits he heard her cries but was too scared to act. In a fit of rage, Stella fatally stabs him and then calls the authorities, pinning the murder on the fleeing Jesse.
