Episode Overview
On October 8, 2001, Scandinavian Airlines Flight 686, with 110 passengers en route to Copenhagen, takes off from Milan's Linate Airport amidst dense fog. Tragically, it collides on the runway with a business jet from Air Evex, which is carrying four individuals heading to Paris. The airliner sustains catastrophic damage and soon crashes into a nearby building. The disaster claims the lives of all 114 passengers and crew members aboard both aircraft, along with four individuals on the ground. The crew of the business jet had mistakenly entered the runway while navigating through the thick fog.
