Episode Overview

On July 25, 2000, Air France Flight 4590, a Concorde destined for New York City, tragically crashes shortly after taking off from Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris. The disaster occurs when the aircraft collides with debris from a Continental Airlines DC-10, resulting in a catastrophic fuel tank explosion and engine failure. All 109 individuals on board perish in the accident, alongside four people on the ground who are also affected by the crash into a nearby hotel in Gonesse.
