Episode Overview
On December 11, 1994, Philippine Airlines Flight 434 experiences a devastating explosion during its second leg from Manila to Tokyo, making a stop in Cebu City. The blast claims the life of one passenger, injures several others, and disrupts critical control systems of the plane. Despite the chaos, the crew manages to safely land the aircraft at Naha Airport in Okinawa. The attack was orchestrated by Ramzi Yousef, who had covertly introduced the bomb onto the plane during its initial journey.
