On August 6, 2005, Tuninter Flight 1153 tragically crashes into the Mediterranean after exhausting its fuel supply, resulting in the deaths of 16 individuals. The disaster was caused by the installation of an incorrect fuel gauge meant for a different airplane model, which deceived the flight crew regarding the actual fuel levels.
