Mystery Diners (2012)

Episode Overview

Patrick, the proprietor of Buster's Beach House in Long Beach, California, is worried about a significant amount of alcohol going missing, linked to his bartender, K.P. The Mystery Diners investigate and uncover that K.P. has been embezzling funds by miscounting lemon slices. They also reveal serious issues with Johnny, the executive chef, who has faced allegations of sexual harassment and favoritism towards female staff and regular patrons. Confronted by Patrick, both Johnny and K.P. are dismissed. In his exit interview, Johnny expresses regret over his actions and intends to make amends, while K.P. insists he did nothing wrong and has already found new work. Johnny is now pursuing counseling, and Patrick has brought in a new chef and bartender.
