Jay puts Michael's name forward for the "Small Businessman of the Year" award, and Michael becomes convinced that victory is in his grasp, especially after a golfing friend on the board assures him, "If my vote was the only one that mattered, you’d definitely win." Meanwhile, Claire finds herself raiding Jay's makeup bag more frequently than she probably should.
