Joan starts a romantic relationship with her client, Frank Anderson, and things appear to be going smoothly. However, their happiness is disrupted when a frantic woman bursts into the office searching for Joan. She reveals to Maya and Lynn that she followed her husband to Joan’s residence. In a fit of anger, Joan publicly ends her relationship with Frank. Later, she discovers that Toni has been using her home to meet with her married lover, leading her to doubt her initial suspicions about Frank. Unexpectedly, Toni's boyfriend brings shocking news that changes everything.
