Episode Overview

Joan ends up spending Thanksgiving by herself when her friends decide to pursue other plans for the holiday. While enjoying a meal at 847, she encounters Preston Hall, a charming and accomplished attorney who is friends with Davis. Intrigued, Joan invites him over for a homemade dinner before his late-night flight. However, her friends unexpectedly show up, and Joan struggles to find a way to get them to leave so she can enjoy some quality time with Preston.
